Allen the Peregrine

When IKEA launched a new store in Sheffield, we collaborated with local artist Jason Heppenstall to bring the steel city’s most famous falcon to life. Meet Allen the Peregrine, a 7-metre wide falcon made from over 17,000 IKEA allen keys, standing proudly outside Sheffield’s main station, as a symbol of the town and the new store.
