54,000 women are forced from their jobs every year due to pregnancy and childcare commitments. We represented them all with a carnation, the original symbol of Mother’s Day. We called on Government to adopt the model of redundancy protection endorsed by the Women and Equalities Select Committee to give effective workplace protection to every mother.
